Offline in the field
Dead zones are a fact of ambulatory life. Open Field Entry before you head out and keep working when the bars disappear: charges, vaccinations, and exam notes are captured on the device, queue in a pending list, and sync automatically the moment you’re back in signal.
The sync is engineered to be exactly-once — every entry carries a stable ID, so a flaky reconnect or a retry can’t double-post a charge. What you entered in the barn is what lands in billing, once.

Some equine systems tie you to a single iPad app; others are a Windows program installed on a server you babysit. EDSI is neither — it’s a browser away on whatever device is in your hand, and it updates itself.

Offline covers field capture — the work you do at the barn. The full back office (billing runs, statements, reports, settings) still needs a connection. We’d rather tell you exactly where the line is than sell “works offline” and let you find the edges on a farm call.
