EDSI VMS vs StableTrack

Everything StableTrack is still building — already running today.

Batch monthly statements, proven in a live practice — shipped, not on a roadmap.

StableTrack (from Asteris) is the newest and most modern of the equine-native apps: percentage, fixed, and service-line splits, offline by default on iOS, and simple flat pricing at $199/month for unlimited users. It’s one to watch.

The catch is that it’s early. StableTrack is in beta with zero third-party reviews and — critically for a billing practice — no batch monthly statements yet. EDSI VMS already runs full batch statement cycles, with a preview-and-approve gate, inside a working equine practice.

Why practices pick EDSI VMS

  • Run your whole month-end statement cycle today — batch generation, preview-recipients approval, then send by email or mail with SMS reminders.
  • Charge saved cards on file with receipts, something StableTrack hasn’t shipped.
  • Adopt software that’s already invoicing real owners, not one still in beta.

Where StableTrack is strong

  • Modern, offline-by-default iOS app.
  • Flat unlimited-user pricing and flexible split types.

When StableTrack may be the better fit: If whole-app offline-by-default on iOS is your top priority and you’re comfortable being an early beta user while batch statements are still being built, StableTrack is worth a look. EDSI’s offline covers field capture with automatic sync.
